I love to paint. I am so hoping I can make a small business doing what I love. I just want to make enough money to help put food on the table for our 3 hungry teenagers and help out with the bills a bit. I am so pleased with my latest remake--I think it is so cute!
I think in the time this was made it would have been called a telephone table. Now that we all have our cell phones in our pocket a telephone table is not so much of a necessitiy. I think this would be great as a small entry table or side table. I am really happy with how it has turned out! I hope it sells.
I liked it from the moment I found it at Goodwill.
I like it even better now!
I added a glass knob and a applique which really added a lot I think.
I thought it was fun that it was made in Oregon.
Thought I would share a photo of my daughters before they left for a day of shopping today.
I stayed home and started working on my next project...
This piece is more masculine than I usually do so I hope it turns out!
Thanks for visiting!

It's so sweet Sandy and I'm sure you will make heaps from your lovely projects. The girls look lovely too.
The table turned out beautifully, Sandy. Love your flowers, too. Makes such a pretty display.
it's so very cute, sandy! love the applique, and your pretty roses look sweet, too! your other pretty roses -girls-look sweet, too:) and i know the next project will be very non-masculine when you get through with it:) have a great week!
Your table came out great! I love the appliqué, it really added a lot. I am sure you will be able to make money at this you just need to keep on going with it and build up stock to take to a show or something as well as selling online. It takes tons of work. Your next piece has good bones, looking forward to seeing it.

Sandy, I have been following your blog and your daughter's blog for sometime now. I have to tell you that I look forward to each and every post you share. You are truly a kindred spirit in your decor style though mine is not as ethereal as yours. I love that you are not pretentious but sincerely appreciate all that your life offers. Your home, husband, children, parents and even pets all mean a great deal to you and it most certainly shows in your blog! I believe that you could have a wonderful business with recreating furniture pieces; you do such a good job on each piece you share with blog land. I also believe that your blog could somehow provide you with a little extra cash with the right sponsers. I do not know how one goes about obtaining the right sponsers but do know that several bloggers make a living at it. Your blog has it all in my opinion...eye candy, DIY, sharing life's happy moments, raising children, pets and all they offer, I could go on and on! Anyway, you are a true inspiration to me! Thank you for sharing. You have encouraged me and pulled me through a few tough times with your positive outlook on life! You, Sandy are not only a BLESSED woman but a woman who is a BLESSING!
Thanks bunches,
Connie
