Janae's Ruffled Tablecloth

I am so jealous of this new ruffled tablecloth that Janae bought! It is actually a twin size bed skirt and I think it looks so lovely...
See her whole post here
Can you imagine how many flat sheets it is going to take me to make something like this? Not to mention the time???! But you know..I can't let Janae have more ruffled loveliness than I do (LOL) We can't seem to find the twin bed skirt anywhere now, other than at a very high price on ebay.
Just wanted to share-(for those of you that don't follow Janae yet) I thought you'd enjoy seeing this tablecloth. You know I have been in a ruffled state of mind lately. :)
For those of you who may not know, Janae is my oldest daughter. She is 22 and recently bought her first home. Our taste in decorating is very much the same. I am very proud of her.

Thanks for visiting!

It is beautiful ~ I've seen this done on another blog a while back, and I too got the inspiration to purchase another of these bedskirts to create my own tablecloth ~ but what I did was remove the top fabric of the bedskirt, as it was too shimmery and thin for my taste, and cut it out and replaced it with a linen white tablecloth, and love how it turned out :) I just did a post with pics of it, if you would like to see ~ I do follow her blog, and yours too :) However, I am having problems with blogger not wanting to save new blogs to my blog list on my sidebar :( Hopefully they will have that little problem fixed soon. If it's not one thing it's always another, right, lol :)

Warmest hugs, Brenda

I don't blame you for wanting one..I would want one too but I only use my dinning room size table and that is just way too big..maybe when I downsize and get a cute little table..
This is lovely...

Oh it's so beautiful. Who wouldn't want one?
Thank you for visiting, I much appreciate your visits. The foot in the picture is the ruffle foot. It cost me $25 a couple of years back, which I thought was expensive at the time. Maybe because it is different from yours is why it doesn't ruffle so well.

That's so pretty! That couldn't be used in my house, but I love the look regardless! I need to go now to see how you made this to see if there is an empty table to throw one of these on in my house!

Thank you for visiting my blog last week!

I found a white ruffled bedskirt on Overstock.com and that could be used as a tablecloth or to make runners or whatever. So keep your eyes peeled~
