Happy Feet!

A few weeks ago I re-did a little cabinet I found at Goodwill and I immediately decided it needed feet. I wanted to do little bun feet--but they seemed too wide for the cabinet. I found these cute little legs and I like them. I thought they may be a little high--but I like them because I can get the vacuum cleaner hose under there now.

I am really pleased with this cabinet--and I think it is looking great against the new color I am painting in the sunroom.

The other thing I did is put lace treatment on the top of the cabinet, I thought it needed that too and I love how it looks!

It is interesting to see how the new wall color looks on the computer. It is looking very blue, when actually it is a blue-green. I think it looks pretty both on the computer and in "real life". The color I ended up going with is "Harbor Lane"--a little toned down from the "Ocean Falls" I used on my hutch..but the colors are very similar.

I found my new favorite fabric. I found it on e-bay and just got a yard to see if I like it. Well, I don't like it, I LOVE it, and have so many things I want to make with it. I would love to make a liner for my shopping cart and just leave it sitting out, looking cute. There are several companion fabrics that go with it and I love them all.

This fabric is so me!

Well, I'd better get back to painting! Thanks for visiting!

Oh, I forgot...Yes, you never have to ask, you are welcome to pin anything of mine! I don't even write on my pictures, I could care less if someone used them, I am flattered, I don't care if they give me credit! People are so silly, there is a lot of things to get really upset about in life...using using my picture is not one of them.

The cabinet is just absolutely gorgeous. A show stopper! It would be tiny enough to fit in my studio!! And wow that fabric is scrumptious. I love it too!
Have a great evening.

The cabinet is adorable!! How cute. And that is some seriously cool fabric. I just got an apron from the prairie that is similiar to that, it is a little darker blue in the overdyed look but close, so pretty!!! love your style thanks for stopping by my place!

The painted cabinet looks fabulous and the detail is so pretty. Also just checked out your previous post and the table centrepiece is so creative and goes perfectly with the petticoat tablecloth.

Hello I'm a new follower and would love it if you'd follow back. Question - Is this one piece or 2 pieces put together. The legs were definitely the right choice. I so love that fabric!!! Do you mind sharing the ebay store you bought it from? Thanks for sharing and hope you'll stop by and link this post to my Frugal Treasures Tuesday party going on now.

Love the feet on the cabinet/cupboard. They are the perfect height! And your ruffles are so darling. And the egg container with the little skirt. You are inspiring me to drag out my sewing machine and do something magical. And the color of your room and your ruffled centerpiece are both so pretty. You do such beautiful things with your home. I know your family must love it!

Hi Sandy!

Your little cabinet had really nice legs! You have such a good eye to know just how to tweek your GW treasures to bring out their full potential.

Also the lace treatment on the top is so pretty and as I told you before it fits that space perfectly. I think the new aqua blue wall will really work nicely with all of your furniture and accessories.

I hope Gage is felling better :)
