Sweet Surprise

It is so fun to connect with old friends through Facebook. It was such a fun surprise when one of my best childhood friends sent me a package. I always get excited when there's a package on the front porch!

I love this pillow that belonged to her Grandmother...and I didn't have this book "At Home With White" that is just filled with decorating I love. My friend Nancy told me these things were all me. She is so right :)

Each page is just beautiful...

I am definitely at home with white! Who couldn't love the cutwork on this pillow...

..I will treasure it always!  Thank you so much Nancy!

I will end this post with yet another adorable photo of the newest member of our family ..Janae's little Bentley.

Thanks for visiting!

Such a sweet "puppers"!!! I love how you took the shot by softening the edges.. just perfect. Victoria magazine came out with the greatest publications. I actually have some of the older issues tucked away for safe keeping. Their book is a wonderful compliment to the magazines!

What a sweet new puppy.
In answer to your question, the only way to help cats adjust to being in-door cats is to keep the in-doors as exciting and fun as possible. Adding cat-trees near windows, window-seats that allow them to view out-door trees will help. Have pots with kitty-grass sitting around and lots of scratching posts. Something that I did for mine was to bring inside a log that was split in half (vertically) so they could stand on it to scratch their nails. Cats will only use something that will not wobble around when they try to use it to sharpen their nails. If you keep their kitty trees away from the front door area they may not be so tempted to run out every time someone comes in or out. Keep them interested in their toys by changing them often and be sure to put some play-time with you aside each day for them.
