Garden Stroll

I like to remember what was blooming when so I thought I would snap a few photos of how the flowers are looking in the middle of May.

My daughter Chantel brought me home a beautiful huge basket from school. Each Horticulture student got to pick a basket from what was leftover from the plant sale.

I love it! I am a huge fan of hanging baskets.

I love my roses too!

I love to bring my roses in the house too :)

Every day brings me things blooming in the gardens..

One of my favorite area in my front deck. I am pretty lucky with potted plants--they do well for me! Can't wait until these grow huge!

Janae is taking after her Mom (me) and her view out her front door is beautiful!

Yesterday was 91 degrees and I (believe it or not) enjoyed it :) But today is 85 degrees and muggy--I am not liking that. I have decided I don't mind the heat but I hate it when it is muggy.

To end this post--I have a handful of projects I need to get too. My husband bought me the piece below--I know it is a gossip bench--but I am wondering how old? I am thinking maybe 1950's? I am hoping I can make it beautiful :)!

Thanks for visiting!

What eye candy - your flowers are all doing so well already. You have such a charming place. I am not a fan of muggy weather either....blah! It ruins my hair. :) I enjoyed this post.

Beautiful, Sandy! And Janae's view out her front door is beautiful. I'm sure her neighbors across the street appreciate it, too! : ) Love seeing how your plants are doing. It is still early days yet here, but I'm hoping to see my pots fill in soon.

It is looking so gorgeous in your yard! I love all of your container gardening. Janae's front porch is looking so cute, I love her view. I love it to be warm here, it is never muggy in Colorado. Sometimes I miss the humidity!

That bench is so cool! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Your flowers are gorgeous. We actually had a little snow here in the Chicago area today (I know)so I really don't know when it will finally be safe to put some plants outdoors! For now I'll just look at yours lol. xoKathleen

I have definite garden envy. Between a puppy and a drought, my garden does not look how I would like it.

Enjoy a lovely weekend.

Hi Sandy,
Wow, your flowers are beautiful! You obviously have a green thumb. This is our first year in the new house so landscaping is all new. I'm trying to bring it to life with some hydrangea plants and knock out roses, plus some pots on the front porch.
Love that gossip bench too and I can just about imagine what you will do with it. Can't wait to see.

hugs
