Summer in May

Here in Oregon we have been having the most amazing weather.  Last night  the weatherman said, "Get ready for summer in May!" I don't think he was kidding. All this great weather has kept me working in the yard...and still enjoying all the cut flowers in the house too.

I love being able to have all the windows open making the house smell so fresh.

When I am outside working in the yard Fez and Phoebe always keep their eye on me...or a butterfly flying by :).

The yard is looking so pretty with all my hard work. This weather is just perfect for planting flowers!

This morning I made sure I was one of the first people at the Forest Grove High School plant sale. They have the most beautiful baskets!

I got this one to put in the front...

This is the one I got for the back...

These baskets are beautiful now..and I am hoping they will be amazing a few months from now. I usually do really well with potted flowers :) Thanks God for Miracle grow!

I got my husband a few things for his garden at the plant sale too.

Soon it will be too hot to work outside...they are saying in the 80's this weekend. This Oregonian just melts at those temps! I am hoping to get some sewing projects done...there is always so much to do.

I hope this finds everyone getting to take time to smell the flowers....

Thanks for visiting!

Sandy,
Your yard is so pretty. I am so wanting to start planting soon. We had 80's for a couple of days and then now 50's for the week end. We just cannot stay on a steady nice weather course here in Chicago.
Your yard looks beautiful.

Hi Sandy,
I see that your hard work in the garden has paid off with some lovely flowers for inside.

Here on the coast we are enjoying spring with comfortable temps and no sunshine...oh well by July we will be burning up! Never happy.

Love the kitties in the window.

hugs
Sissie
