Spring Ball Jars

After seeing painted Ball jars at the Junk Sisters show I have been wanting to make some of my own. I thought it would be fun to make some in Easter colors.

I was really happy with how they turned out they make the house look more like Spring!

I started out with 3 jars from Goodwill...that cost me a whooping .87 cents.

I used my homemade chalk paint recipe (found here) and then sanded the paint off to show the jar details.

I think they look so vintage and cute! A fun and simple project.

I thought I would "play house" and make a pretty Spring table setting too.

I got a sweet Boyd bear at Goodwill the other day that at first I thought was a bunny. Turns out it is a poodle. Lula the fairy seems to think he is cute. :)

I hope this finds everyone enjoying Spring!

Thanks for visiting!

How lovely your display and table setting is Sandy. Do you press all your frills on your table cloth every time you put it on the table. I had mine in the cupboard for a while and took it out yesterday. I pressed the top again but didn't do the frills and they are still a bit scrunched from being folded up. Yours look so neat. I think maybe mine might drop the creases after a few days. Well here's hoping anyway. x

The jars turned out so well. Cute pic with Lula the fairy and the poodle. But best of all is that darling little black and white cat. Is that you he's looking at? It's such a trusting, endearing look, so filled with love!

Love the jars! Such pretty colors! And your table looks so sweet! I was thinking of trying this paint thing on some of the last jars I am trying to do something with...have seen alot of them lately and they are so pretty painted up in pastels...I saved your chalk paint recipe to try, so maybe after the grandbabes go home I will give it a whirl! Your little bear is just adorable too!
