Look what came today!

Back when the economy was better I had a friendship with the mailman. I actually gave him iced tea on a hot day and that sort of thing. Now, I don't even know my new mailman. So it was a fun day today, getting 2 packages!

First of all, I received the giveaway from Rosemary at Villabarnes.
I am so lucky! I just LOVE everything! Thank you so much Rosemary..you are such a giving, creative, awesome person. I am happy to have you as a blogger friend!

Three of the giveaway gifts are shown above. That beautiful framed magnetic board, sweet little plaster birdie, and the graphic lavender sachet.

The flowers Rosemary put on the top of this are so pretty. Love how she did it. I love this photo of Chantel...from back in the days when she would beg me to take her picture. Boy, have things changed in that department! :)

The lavender smell blends beautifully with the smell of my catmint. The lady in the graphic looks like she is looking up at Chantel's picture.

These are so pretty--I think they will eventually end up on  my Christmas tree.

Love this sweet little jewerly
box!

This little pillow with the sweet lace flower is just adorable!

Fez thought all the packing materials were the best part!

Then box #2...my Maison Blanche chalk paint samples and clear wax are here!

My blog friend Shannon from Fox Hollow Cottage just started selling this. I am so excited to test it out I can hardly stand it! She sent me along a free Purdy paintbrush. I always need another paintbrush!

I think I choose good colors to try--Creme De Mint and Debutante.  From what I have read in reviews so far it is about the same as Annie Sloan Chalk paint. I want to try the Annie Sloan next..because I want to decide for myself. I do really like the color choices with the Maison Blanche brand. There are several shades of blue--I want to try them all!

Once again...Fez and Phoebe thought the box was the best part.

So Gage and Wyatt start school tomorrow and on thursday Chantel has her first day. Three kids in middle school. Back to the old grind. Already looking forward to Christmas break!

Thanks for visiting!

What a great giveaway! Rosemary does nice work!

And the kitties are so cute and funny! (By the way, I'm going to get a new pregnant mom to foster. I will certainly post about it!)

I will certainly check out this chalk paint. I'd like to do a comparison too.

Have a wonderful day!

Getting stuff in the mail is so fun....

I remember when the economy was good I'd have to take six or seven packages to the post office every two days. Equally I got just as many in the mail. So much has changed.

Still...life is good! I have GREAT blogs to visit (LIKE YOURS) and swoon the hours away.

LOVE IT ALL. LOVE THAT PAINT and Oval Rose Board. YUM!
