Pets & Tiaras

Chantel loves the show "Toddlers & Tiaras". I don't think she agrees with it (she would have never put up with me having her be in a beauty pageant!) but she sets the DVR to record every single episode.

Today she scheduled a beauty pageant for the furry members of our family. She was the pageant Mom, and Wyatt and I were the judges. I wish I would have started taking pictures earlier..but here is a few for the memories.:)

I think that Phoebe thought she looked quite adorable in her "outfit of choice".

Fez did not cooperate too well with his Angel costume. It was NOT his outfit of choice.

I am thinking he was not too thrilled with wearing pink and lace. "What's next..neutering?!" Well Fez...I hate to tell you...

Duke got first place in the costume division. He was doing his pirate grumbling and everything.  A real crowd pleaser!

Big John was a close second in the costume division with his cowboy attire. He had his "don't mess with me" look going on.

Daisy was sad she didn't take home a crown. Maybe if she had spent a little more time in hair dressing.

Fez was just glad it was over and decided to take a nap.

I have been so lazy the last week or so..but it is so great to get some rest and hang out with the kids. I am so lucky I get the chance to do that.  I did start my next project today though...

When I do projects I usually just wing it..but this time I decided to use a pattern. That ruffled purse is what I want. I will change it up to be just right for me. I have a few designer purses..and I love them..but how fun to have this shabby chic purse made by me, for me! I hope it turns out like I want. I had to lock the kittens in my bedroom when I was cutting out the pattern pieces because the crinkling sounds of the tissue were making them go crazy!

Enjoy your day!

Thanks so much for visiting me! Oh my goodness.... I shrieked when I saw your beauty of a kitty in the first shot! I have always loved orange kitties... but then the second kitty is just so cute too. What fun you all had (well, maybe not the kitties but they seem like good sports!). Just loved seeing the photo shoot of all the fur babies! Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks for your comment and visit about Tausha's Book I made for her.I used Costco and I think it turned out pretty good.I used another company a few years ago for my Girls books but I can't think of the name I will look and see if it's on their books. It's pretty easy to use just play with it and you can change the page format too just look around. I didn't see how to at first.
check back I think I am going to host a Giveaway with one of the Books if that is o.k with Tausha.
