Holiday Powder Room

The decorating continues...

Today I finished the hall bathroom. It sounds so much nicer to call it the powder room. I feel like it is one of the best places to decorate because lets face it..everyone goes in there. Friends, family, unexpected guests..everybody.

All the decor has been bought the last few years at my favorite place to shop, Goodwill. I got this Icy Blue Father Christmas last year for 2.99! Who knew that this year he would fit so perfectly into the color scheme of my powder room?! The angels also all from Goodwill not costing more than a couple dollars a piece. They looked beautiful last year too, but I think really shine in this room.

I hope you enjoyed the powder room decorating. I'm still excited to get my tree. I always get a real tree..I notice so many artificial trees on blogs and now that my daughter got one she says she likes it better. Is there anybody out there that still likes to get a real tree?

  2. Well, it just gets lovelier and lovelier (wasn't sure that is a word but it didn't auto correct so I guess it is). I love white, silver, and turquoise as well.

  7. Very Pretty! I'm thinking that your husband and boys are so sweet to let you do ALL this pretty "fru fru" decorating.

I love a real tree because of the smell but find that a fake one is just as pretty. Sometimes easier to decorate because of the uniformity. I just get a candle or spray to get that "tree" fragrance. SO much easier and I think safer too!

Thanks for sharing at my party!

  9. How beautiful is your powder room! The colors are so wonderful - and I love that Santa from Goodwill.
I have always had a real tree and my kids won't accept anything else. If for no other reason than the sweet smell of it! And we also use the old large bright colored lights that I had as a kid. But we did get a really nice artificial one at 75% off for out basement/playroom.

  17. I love real trees, but my hubby refuses to get one. His father was a firefighter and it was a huge no-no in their house to have a real tree. I suppose I can understand why, when he saw so many fires started because of them. I do miss the wonderful scent from them though!
